Brebis Rousse

Produced by Fromagerie Guilloteau in France, Brebis Rousse is a silky, unctuous cheese that literally translates as 'red sheep." Aged for thirty days, this cheese arrives at the shop in a handsome square shape with a distinctive, natural orange rind that immediately begins to ooze once cut into. When young, Brebis Rousse is rich and sweet, but as it matures it becomes earthier and more savoury as the rind takes on a duskier hue.

We recommend pairing Brebis Rousse with a crusty baguette or a light red wine like Beaujolais.
